Rose of Jericho

The Rose of Jericho, or resurrection flower's, ability to rise from the state of the "dead" has made it a symbol of hope and rebirth across various cultures. In Christian tradition it is associated with the resurrection of Christ, hence the name. In folk magic it is believed to bring peace, power, and protection from bad spells into a home. Add enough water to cover the bottom of a dish or shallow bowl and over the course of a few hours the Rose of Jericho will "blossom" as it absorbs the water. You can sprinkle the leftover water around your home or business for general blessings and good fortune. For added protection, you can also use the water to draw a cross on your front door. You may also add the water to floor washes and baths for money drawing and abundance work.
